Antelope Canyon is home to one of nature's most wondrous creations - the slot canyons. Carved from the red sandstone for milleniums by rain and wind, the canyons are narrow passages that lead several hundred feet away from the mouth. The gorgeous slopping angles of the rocks coupled with the shafts of light that make their way down from the rim of the canyon combine for an amazing scene.

This place is amazing to capture Alford. I hope to see this place some day. I took the exposure and added a contrast masking layer to bring out the range of tones in this scene. I tried to darken the floor where the light is the brightest and brighten the sides where reflected light brings wonderful details. Then I applied a little of smart sharpen to highlight some details.
