Curitiba Burning Sky Photo

Photographer's Note

Two and a half years ago I was driving my car at Curitiba, a city in the south of Brazil where I live, and when I took a look in the mirror of my car, I saw the sky was burning. I immediatly stoped, caught my camera and without a tripod (I used the top of the car) took this photo.
This is Martin Afonso st., rush time.
The photo colours are unmodified. I just croped a little bit.

Boa foto, primo! Tá tirando coelho da cartola, é? Não preciso nem falar das cores fantásticas, mas a perspectiva da rua está legal e as luzes dos carros bem equilibradas. Até as luzes da rua podem ser notadas, mesmo contra o imenso amarelão do céu. Um momento muito bonito nos céus de nossa Curitiba. Pena haver um pouco de ruído, o que é comum neste tipo de foto. É como um filme granulado selecionado automaticamente pela câmera.

Great shot.
I think sunsets are more difficult to shoot than most b/c it is difficult to find an original and interesting foreground to highlight the sunset. You did a good job here, and it gives me lots of ideas in the future b/c I was just thinking about this.

My only critique is that it is pretty noisey. I did a w/s to see if it would help with "neat image" - free ware on the internet.

Muito boa foto....maravilhosa cor e a vida presente nos carros pela avenida dá um toque diferente ao seu por do sol, fugindo do lugar comum que as pessoas costumam fotografar nesse horário...vc conseguiu muito bem misturar um por do sol com a loucura da cidade grande....parabéns!

Oi, Nanau! Pois é, acho que tenho mais fotos de Curitiba no meu portfólio do que vc rs! Essa é bem interessante, pois mostra um cotidiano que eu acreditava não ser tão presente na cidade: o do "rush" pesado (peguei alguns engarrafamentos notáveis). Mas o pôr-do-sol é o que realmente dá o tom, fazendo com que um entardecer comum seja também especial. Parabéns! Abraço! Miguel

Eu não posso adicionar demasiado à boa crítica de zeca. Concordo que as cores son sâo fantásticas e as luzes dos carros têm a iluminação exata. O ruído excessivo pode fàcilmente ser corrigido usando Neat Image (versâo grátis)como na Workshop.
