In March, 2005 I went to Germany's capital Berlin together with my teacher Danish and two other students to visit a sort of conference (lektormøde) in the Danish Embassy in Germany.
Of course we had also some time to look around in Berlin, where I made many pictures. In this travelogue, you can see the ones I posted.

When I was in Berlin there was about 10cm snow, but when I was out taking pictures it was a sunny morning! That created a nice opportunity for interesting winter pictures.

The most impressive experience was the area around the Brandenburg Gate where once you could find the Berlin Wall. For only 16 years ago, this city was divided by this wall. One city divided into two. A city with people on both sides of a crazy wall, who could be their own family, but couldn't meet each other, friendships split by a concrete border. I couldn't imagine how something like that would have been, but thinking about it, was very impressive.

Besides this, we also visited places like the Reichstag and its beautiful dome, Unter den Linden, Alexanderplatz and Die Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche. I think Berlin is really a nice city! Hope you like my pictures of it in this travelogue too!
