A small trip to the Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic. Route:
With car:Oslo, Norway to Bergen at the west coast.
Car Ferry (20 hrs) in the Norwegian Sea to Torshavn At the Faroe Island.

As we have an apartment in South of France I quite often go down there - often travelling by plane or sometimes by car - making some deviations on the tour back (...a good diversion from crossing the Continent in just 2 days...and not least an opportunity to meet some TE friends)

As we have an apartment in South of France I quite often go down there - often travelling by plane or sometimes by car - making some deviations on the tour back, like parking in Marseille and have a weekend flight to Corisca (...a good diversion from crossing the Continent in just 2 days...and not least an opportunity to meet some TE friends)

Amsterdam spring weekend by Jack R Johanson (34843) 2006-03-09 - 2006-03-12

Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, lies on the banks of two bodies of water, the IJ bay and the Amstel river. Founded in the late 12th century as a small fishing village on the banks of the Amstel, it is now the largest city in the country and its financial and cultural centre.
As of 2005, the population of the city proper is 742,951; the population of the greater Amsterdam area is approximately one and a half million. (9 photos)

With KLM from Oslo to Lisboa then the Alfa Train to Porto. 4 nights here before returning for 3 nights in Lisboa.

Mount Knutshoi right by route 51 in Jotunheimen - a very fine alternative to the more well known Besseggen.

Park by the highway (in the end of Valdresflya) and hike some 4-6 hours.. (6 photos)
