Intro: Generally the old and the traditional attract me more than the new. Photographing is for me first of all a way of documenting subjects - be it scenery or old buildings, that are in danger of disappearance.
I prefer photos with natural, realistic colors and a minimum of post processing. Unfortunately too many pictures on TE suffer from overdone effects...

Recently I bought a 2nd hand Nikon D 40. I find it somewhat heavy, but the experience and the possibilities compensate for much.

What I most like about Trekearth is that it is such a perfect platform to show and to see what the world looks like. It often surprises me that despite overpopulation, industrialization and globalization there are still lots of original, unspoilt and quiet places on this planet.
