Boran-

The eyes of the young girl tell a prophetic story. If memory serves me, there is much turmoil in this part of Turkey. I believe it is where the Kurds are insurgent.

She looks as though she is lost in her mind. Maybe dreaming of a better time, or a past joy. Such a beautiful child, with beautiful eyes, with such obvious poverty. It makes my heart both happy and sad at the same time.

Hello Baran,

Nice!! Black and white working so well here. A pity you didn't get a look into your direction, but even the way she's looking right now it's just wonderful to look at her appearance and especially her eyes. I do like the tight cropping forwhich you have choosen as well. I like it!!

Baran, such old tired eyes on such a young person. Really good photo evoke emotions - this one did for me. well composed and the reflections in her eyes are wonderful. a beautiful b&w portrait - bravo
