Photographer's Note

With 300 hectares of wild land covered in heather and gorse, Cap Fréhel, in Côtes d'Armor northern Brittany, is one of the natural marvels of the Breton Coast and certainly the most spectacular with its 70m high multi coloured cliffs. On a clear morning the distant horizon sweeps round the Emerald coast from Normandy's Cotentin peninsula in the East to the Ile de Bréhat in the north west.

Hi Vincent.

Perfect image for symphony mood..
Starting with the "sonata form", then a slow movement..enter the minuet and then dance in the ternary,then the fast movement in "rondo' form...
Musical composition, the movement begin from the wild colours of the cliff, raging to the waters and then to the blue sky, dancing with the clouds !!!

EXCELLENT, IMAGINATIVE !!!

What a wonderful pallet of colours you are presenting here. The foreground is so rich in green, red and yellow colours that it stands in perfect contrast to that beautiful sky where the clouds are drifting in. Great depth created by that...good composed.

This is a beautiful image! Breathtaking to say the least. The composition is well balanced between land, sea, and sky. What surprises me is that heather and gorse are found on the mainland as I always thought these plants were native to Scotland, Northern England, Ireland. The colors are superb and rich in the late afternoon light. Well done!!

La terre et le ciel se sont conjurès pour montrer sa figure plus belle! C'est superbe cette image. Les couleurs et les formes de la terre, sous cette belle lumière... une image avec une extraordinaire force. Et le ciel es vraiment magnifique. Tu as su bien profiter le moment avec une très belle composition et un bon management de la lumière! Parfaite!

Splendide point de vue sur ce magnifique paysage breton. Les falaises sont impressionnantes et la sensation d'espace et d'immensité est je trouve bien transmise par la composition. Les couleurs sont de plus superbes. Bravo.

I just went thru your profile and the places you have visited..and was stunned to see that you have been to nepal but not to India..Why..?? Tourist first come to India and then visit nepal..!!I really want ti invite you to my country for you to enjoy INDIA..!! the Incredible India..!!

A beautiful scene, Vincent, with an unusual color scheme that I like. Great clouds--I like the way they make a sideways V with the shoreline. It does appear that the right side of the image is somewhat oversaturated, especially the sky. But it's an effective shot. Regards, Ken.

what a colourful view. I always like the coast of Brittany with its rocks and rough nature, staying a bit wild. The weather is changing from hour to hour and you smell the salt in the air. This capture is bringing back my memories of the last visit some years before. Well done.

La compo est parfaitement équilibrée, avec de superbes couleurs et une lumière intéressante. La profondeur du paysage est elle aussi plaisante.
Seul petit regret, un manque de netteté du 1er plan, un peu déconcertant.

j'aime ce cadrage si simple mais si plein d'éléments avec une grande attraction à vue. La falaise du premier plan, verte et avec beaucoup de fleurs, contraste fortement avec le ciel bleu, les nuages et la mer.
C'est une belle image, très bien captée dans ta composition, est comme une peinture, avec une très bonne lumière et des belles couleurs.

I badly wish to return to this section of the Breton Coast, as it was fogged in while I was there...The hues and tones here are mesmerizing. Although mid-summer, the crisp clear scene reminds one of a shoulder season. Good management of light and exposure level...Demain.

very nice and moody view, quite simple really but a high impact obtained from the beautiful clouds clouds hovering above the coastline. Good mood with the light and a fine use of foreground rocks. Fantastic colours as well.
