Photographer's Note
This was a photo taken on the ferry back from the Sunshine coast towards Vancouver. It was a dull day, plenty of rain and I thought this looked lovely as the sun broke through the clouds with a clear sky behind. I just loved the colours and tones to the sky.
Behind is the wake from the ferry which I felt added to the image.

Hi Paul,
It is just amazing how you captured the beauty of darkness. The different tones in the clouds, the rain, the movement of the water. Wonderful!

Very nice image. The ripples on the water work well and the dark, low light atmosphere is excellent to create a mood. The contrast of light and dark clouds is very attractive. Nice work Paul.

Hola Paul.
Excellent composition with a superb shot, love the way you captured the waves and the sea. Great perspective and good POV. Impressive stormy clouds. The mountains in the bg give a nice depth effect to your shot.
Very well done. TFS.
Best regards.

Hey Paul :)
Fantastic shot! It's a really interesting image with the dark clouds and sea. The composition and contrast of the light & dark really works. I really like the wake of the ferry too, adds an extra element to the pic.
Well done :)

Paul,
I do like this shot. It's almost subjectless, almost abstract, because it's not really a photograph of the view but rather, as I read it, of light and pattern present in a moment of time.
Nice.

Hi Paul
i can see what attracted you to take this shot, the beautiful light appearing in the background and for me the wake from the ferry makes this shot as it leads you up to the light. well senn and well photographed

Like this Paul for it's atmospheric look and especially the tonality, giving it a kind of sepia look. Well captured.
