Photographer's Note

A view shot last autumn during a day trek in the Tarentaise valley, french north Alps. The POV is shot from a place calle 'le rocher Pierre d'Arbine' at about 2650 meters high.

This valley is called 'le vallon du Clou'. The tiny lake 'du Clou' you can see below rhe rock in foreground is at about 2350 meters high. The texture of the grass, like a green of golf is due to the crowd of sheeps who eat each squared meters of grass in the whole place.

In the background, the glaciers are coming from some high peaks of the Tarentaise (3500 meters high), in the Grande Sassiere area.
