summer gone, a photo from Antalya, Mediterranean

Photographer's Note

let's face it... it is already winter... me, back in my depressive mood...

so back to storm-hit belek... the sea is all muddy thanks to the near by river bringing down all the rich soil washed out of the hills around by the pouring rain...

a few tourists left... just for playing golf and exploring the wonders of antalya region...

children... how they wish they could swim and have fun in the water... may be next summer...

Hi Korkut. Strange light, everything seems a little heavier. Even the clouds seem to have lowered. It makes it all a fascinating picture. Very nice colours and composition. Regards. Klaudio.

Amazing atmosphere, great composition, the heaven calls for it's space and is still pushing to the ground, fascinating colors - quite complemantary between red and blue scale, even the cloth of the kids 'almost' correspond..cool.

Wow Korkut,

This one is magical! The soft appeal of the sky is just superb! Love that pattern! Great that you have included a lot of the sky. Nice to see these children play close to the sea. Well composed with the boys on this place of the frame, also like the wooden pier, it's lines add a little depth.
Did you use the maximum wide angle of your camera?

Once a day I will spend my holidays in Turkey, for sure.
I was twice in Turkey, but this is too long ago (Istanbul and Kusadasi in the end of 80s).

Here you captured a very strange mood, which creates a very interesting desire to want watching this photo again and again.

Very nice mood and coloration as well. Very good comp the brigh and colorful unfocussed sky gives it a surrealistic effect. The light alling slightly behind the planches makes us wonder whether a space ship is about to appear..

your photo with your note gives a quite depresive mood. Think of the positive part in greek we say that winter comes it is cold ind it is time for two (meaning lovers) well in greek it is a rhyme, translated it looses its meaning.

Oh my, what a sky. Warm and richly saturated.

This is a gorgeous shot, Korkut, filled with a deep longing -- as your other photo ("sea foam waves") of the same location. This is such a fascinating shot and I can't tell you exactly why, but it touches me.
