Photographer's Note
After a break, I am pleased to be back with this friendly Pao man.
I met him at the Kyauk-Daing Market.
This market is located full south of the Inle lake.
From the main village of Nyaungshwe, it takes 2 hours by boat to go there and it represents a very nice opportunity to meet hill tribes.

Hello Vero
This is a great moment, did this guy try to hide his face or something?
It is a great portrait, good full view of his face and with some very interesting eyes that sort of cries out to us viewers: "Come close and I will tell more!"
B&W conversion works great, I would think colour would only make the background disturbing and take away the attention.

Hello Vero,
You have captured such a wonderful, candid moment! I love the expression on this man's face, and the way he is holding his hands. Very nice glimpse of the blurred action in the background. A really unique and interesting portrait!

Amicalement, Brigitte

Hi Vero, nice to see you and Tom back again. I know this market, I have a couple of nice shots from there also, and wonderful memories. A strange pose, but a friendly face, almost child-like and a nice B&W conversion.

Hello Vero,
First time I visit your gallery... you have amazing pictures... I can feel the passion you have for travelling and for people you meet around asia... I have as well discovered this part of the world 2 years ago... I can't get enough of it.
I love this picture for the very special pose of this man but as well for the "every day" life of the environemnt. I was in Myanmar in March and your picture bring me back on those beautifull markets...
I will come back to your gallery and hope to discover more of your fantastic trips.
Thanks a lot!
Vincent

what a powerful image! Love the close approach to this man with a wide angle--a kind of in your face approach without being obtrusive. In fact it is clear that he has nice rapport with you. Excellent stuff.

Hello Vero,
It seems you are no longer active on TE, but I wanted to leave this note anyway. It's been wonderful looking at your uploaded pictures, many from areas that stole my heart (too). I hope you're still travelling and enjoying life.
And talking about ending (?) with a bang...your last post really is your best one, in my opinion.
Benny
