Photographer's Note

Trekking in Pieniny Mountains has a lot of advantages.
Easy access, developed touristic base in the nearby villages, short distances of well marked trails and great diveristy of landscapes.

One fact is also very important - visbible nearness of Tatra Mountains and exceptionally grouped summits from numerous viewpoints.

Here's one of them - pass under Mały Cisowiec on the scenic road from Czorsztyn to Niedzica. View across the border - on the forground - springtime mosaic of Sromowieckie fields, further - meadows of Polish Spisz, and finally - the range of High and Bielskie Tatras in Slovakia.

In WS horizontal framing form the same spot.

kapitalnie ten pieninski pejzarz się ukazał, a w dali tatry piękniutkie, za takie widoki to można sie dac pociąć, nie dziwota, ze papiez to tak kochał

And why should you?? It's clear to me why you love this place so much, you show it in such loving detail. I like the way you've composed the photo with the newly green fields and sthe sections of trees leading to the nountains and eveything is topped off with whipped cream clouds...Pat

Nice framing and landscape presented here. It seems that the light was against you a bit as it seems a bit hard, but your effort is very impressive given the circumstances. I like the effect of the shadows, and the sky has come out very well. The elements in the picture are good too, with sky, mountain and landscape in good proportions. Very good shot.
