Photographer's Note

I went to the Wednesday evening street fair in OB to continue my exercise in learning to capture images of people; this artisan caught my eye. Mostly the vendors sell food, flowers or plants so this fellow engrossed in a piece of metal foil caught my eye. Just beyond his hands is a dislpay table of jewelry he's made.

PP: Convert to JPEG, crop and decrease noise in the area of the patrons to get the file size down to something reasonable as it was already deliberately blurred with DOF adjustment. This photo was shot at 120mm so this is the largest aperture I could get.

I was pleased at how well this technique worked in decreasing file size. I was able to save for the web at 85% rather than having to take it down to below 70.
