Photographer's Note
Let's go again for a shot of petra's ruin. This one is an overview of the theater taken from the moutain just in front of ot.
While some people have assumed that this was built by the Romans, the theater is actually Nabataean and was constructed long before the Romans entered Petra.
The caves along the back of the theater most likely come from older tombs that were removed in order to carve the theater seats.
I put this shot in sepia cause my colors were quite burnt cause of the sun ... Hope you don't mind.

Hello Sebastien,
This image allows the iewer to look inside the craftsmanship of the peoples that built this ruin. The theater must have been a lot of work as they did not have the tools we have today. Your choice of Sepia was a good one, as is this photo,

I've noticed sepia is controversial on this website, but you show that sometimes it has its uses. I love how it's really highlighted the intricate texture of the rocks and made the theatre look even more like a part of it. Great.

I have seen few more ancient rock-cut theaters elsewhere in Mediterrenean, but this is the most spectacular. And having seen photos of this place before, I must say that your angle is perfect.
