Photographer's Note
Bryce Canyon is about a 4 hour drive straight South from Salt Lake City, Utah. Like most natural wonders of the world, it is impossible to appreciate unless you have actually been there.
To quote:
When asked what Bryce was like, early settler Claude Sudweeks kept it simple: "Oh, just a hole in the ground--but you should see it."
Yes you should.
This "hole" was formed by "small amounts of water falling over vast amounts of time". Bryce Canyon is located about 8000ft above sea level. When you get there, you don't see it at all until you stand at the edge. And then you see the view above. This was taken in the early morning light at Bryce Point.
