- United Colors of Burano -

Burano is a very small island in the north of Venice, in the lagoon.
Far from the strong population Venetian and constant flow of tourist in "Serenissima", and less disturbed than its sister Murano, Burano carries out a rather peaceful life. Its major characteristic, in addition to its small lace craft industry, is to have very coloured houses, which return attracting particularly this small ground end.

Do not hesitate to throw a glance there when you are in Venice.

Yes, Burano is worth a visit - its vivid colors of houses, not to be missed... you captured it very well! Unfortunately I wasn't so good then ( a little better now) with photography and my photos are not the greatest. Thanks for the contribution.

Wow Loic, Im making this one of my favorites. It works on so many levels. Its really something out of a Benneton ad. The colors are so vivid, I like the claustrophobic framing, and the signature gives it that commercial feel. Super!

Très graphique, très coloré, très bien quoi!
Pour chipoter, le cadrage sur la gauche, la porte coupée, je ne sais pas trop... Mais bon c'est pour trouver quelque chose à dire, hein.
Par ailleurs j'aime beaucoup la police de caractères du titre! C'est quoi?

Très affiche publicitaire, ta photo ne manque pas de couleurs, elles sont en plus splendides et apparaissent vraiment telles qu'on pourrait les voir en réel.
Nette et sans défaut, elle est en plus magnifiquement encadrée.

une belle carte postale que tu nous as concocté là... j'aime beaucoup le linge aux fenêtres, signe du sud, et ces façcades colorés. le bonus, c'est ce petit jouet multicolore qui tourne avec le vent. bien vu.

Burano is a great place to photograph. By selecting a small detail from the whole scene you a created a good composition. The washing hanging out to dry adds a nice touch.

Fantastic colours, and funny title, Loic! Love your image... so Mediterranean, so Italian... excellent sharpness throughout too. I like that little toy in the right window to add even more colours to the shot! Bravo!

Ce que j'adore dans cette photo, outre le fait que les couleurs sont superbes, c'est que tous les habits qui séchent sont blancs et ressortent superbement sur la façade bleue. Il ne manque plus que la maman italienne étendant son linge :-))
