It was early in the morning and the mosque was closed, but I saw the protective walls around the religious areas. Here we can see the typical grey bricks from China and a touch of Chinese art in the theme, but we can feel the Islamic art decoration present in the walls, a blend of cultures.

Era bem cedo e a mesquita estava fechada, mesmo assim vi os muros que protegiam os recintos religiosos. Vemos aqui o uso dos típicos tijolos cinzentos chineses e até o tema dos adornos lembra algo da arte chinesa, mas em todo o trabalho há um toque de arte islâmica, enfim, uma mescla de culturas.
