There aren't many autumn colours pictures of this season in TE yet. Obviously that's because autumn arrives earlier here in the north than rest of the northern hemisphere.
This birch is by the lake Ahvenisjärvi, near my home.

Hmm, amazing effect. You just caught the sunlights on the birch yellow leaves. This is very clever work, good idea and excellent realisation. Are you living near Tampere? I do remember this city as one of the most important hockey capitals.

I've tried recently to take this kind of backlight in a golden tree . Not so easy . But you've donr it perfectly .

Hello Kari, In Warsaw, the first signs of autumn appeared just a few days ago, quite suddenly. You have a nice lake near your home. Fabulous view of this birch. Fantastic light.

A simple but lovely photo of the light streaming through the yellow branches of the tree. The darker surroundings enhance the glowing effect of the filtered light.

HI Kari,in effect thr season of colorful nature isn't start there,so it's nice to see this preview from the northen Europe while in my country we still collect tomatoes in the gardens..ehehe...the composition is fantastic,so well played with the backlight so well exposed,very well done! The well managed light makes the leaves shine beautifully in this scene, they have a beautiful colors that makes a great contrast with the dark tones of the environment! Very nice composition!
