Bonjour Jean,

La composition marche bien avec ce cercle de glace en premier plan qui fait écho au sommet émergeant timidement dans le fond. Là encore, la balance des blancs est bien gérée et l'on voit de nombreux détails dans la neige au premier plan.

En effet, ce cercle de glace est très photogénique et ressort magnifiquement avec le manteau de neige environnant. La percée donnant sur un coin de ciel bleu dynamise joliment l'ensemble.

magnifique graphique avec des courbes, le ciel répondant à la mare gelée, et j'aime bien la montagne noire qui délimite bien le sol enneigé et le ciel bleu pur. Si je ne me trompe pas, c'est vers la fin du plateau du Marcadau.

A very appealing picture. The strong contrast in the black, white and blue, the geometric lines, The circle of ice with a half circle of deep blue sky above.
I think this image could be a great inspiration for an abstract painter.

A relative warm spot an lower than its surrounding created a perfect round pond.

La distance entre le cercle de glace et la montagne donne de la profondeur à la scène. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du cercle de glace et de la montagne. Le reflet de la lumière sur la neige rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Tu as raison , c'est très photogénique mais aussi, il me semble très dangereux. Je ne m'y aventurerais certainement pas de peur de m'enfouir. J'aime que tout pousse le regard vers cet espace bleu au loin.

Missed this one. It reminds me of Mirror Lake on the Lake Agnes teahouse trail from Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. The icy centre resembles an eye. Tfs!

I would think this scene would have been very difficult to get the exposure correct, especially with the bright whites and dark upper portions.

The snow has a nice whiteness to it, no blueing to it, thats exactly what you want.
