Photographer's Note
I could have categorized this photo in decisive moment as well.
When we first saw this beach , we fell in love with the place. Less than two months after we came back home. I had to offer my lovely partner in life if she wanted to go back again to marry me right there ! ...........The rest his history.
We are going back this year for the fifth time. Thanks to the tremendous warmth and friendship of the Cuban people.
This is actually one of the beaches of the Melia Paradisus Rio de Oro Resort. In order to keep its natural look, No chairs are allowed on this beach. Snorkelling is great there. Sailboats and catamarans are coming from all the other resorts to anchor in this bay.
Hope you will like it.

What a beautiful beach - I like it that it is not expansive, it is small, intimate, and broken into private areas by the rocks and driftwood.
I think you have selected an excellent point to compose the photo from, for some reason it is grainy and could have better colour - maybe less contrast? I can't quite figure it.
I hear wonderful things about Cuba, I haven't been, yet...

Amazing beach shot!
I like this contrasty color like a Kodachrome.
Excellent composition!

Dear Robert, the way you took the shot of this, give the impression of a secret haven, an enclave or a private beach. I just loved the sidelong way of looking at the beach. You might like to increase the DPI of your scanner the next time you scan this photo. You could see "dirts" on the part of the sky.
