Photographer's Note

Mustang Landscapes - with the village of Zong at a distance and in front of it - The Three Temples.

My last photograph was where I was looking across over Dzong while climbing down from Muktinath to Kagbeni. That was around 12 noon.
This has been clicked after about an hours trek past this village... at about 3.40 in the evening.

The three temple like structures in the foreground are an important part of the upper-mustang Tibetan architecture. They signify goodness, peace and safety. You will find them not inside the village but out in the mountains, somewhere along the trekking paths. There are more stories around these structures, each having a different colour and obviously a different meaning. But that we shall keep for another day.
