Safira in the spring..IV, a photo from Evora, South

Photographer's Note

As Spring is here and poppies also, I'm posting a photo of Safira, a village that is now in ruins. This one was taken last year and if I'm not wrong, this old house used to be the teacher's house. It's a real traditional country house, from the Alentejo region, with its big chimney.
Safira is an abandoned village. Besides, the ruins of the 16th century church, devoted to Our Lady of Nativity (that I've already posted), there are still ruins of several different houses that have been abandoned a few decades ago. This one is a real traditional country house, from the Alentejo region, with its big chimney.

Hello Ana,
Probably no flowers can fill a foreground as beautifully as poppies. Even though the ruined white house is interesting to watch, and contrasts very nicely with the dense vegetation, this photo is very much dominated by the red poppies and the green leaves surrounding them. You have taken good care of their beauty with the fine saturation.

un bel taglio verticale suddiviso in tre parti ben distinte, il prato punteggiato di papaveri, il cielo denso con le nuvole e la vecchia e diroccata abitazione bianca. Tre parti ben in contrasto tra di loro per un insime molto piacevole da osservare.

Belle prise de vue de ce lieu champêtre avec beaucoup de fleurs en avant-plan. Les couleurs sont très belles sous ce ciel bleu. Bonne netteté de l'image. Bien fait.

Hello Ana,
greatly captured this abandoned place. The nature with its bright colors and life bursting from every details contrasts strangely with the ruins of the house, but even they do not look so sad in this surroundings. The poppies are gorgeous and catch an eye immediately - nice idea to give them so much space in the composition.

Hello Ana - Sublime colours and attractive light show off the spring flowers perfectly in this shot.

la potencia cromática de esos colores vivos de primavera completa una imagen de una alta calidad gráfica y estética.
Es muy bonito el efecto de las amapolas rojas en medio del verde del campo, el contraste con la vieja casa en ruinas, y el fantástico telón de fondo del cielo azul y las nubes blancas.
