In Anarak, a photo from Esfahan, East

Photographer's Note

In my previous shot , you saw an overall view of this small and old city: Anarak. Now we are strolling in its old streets with the lady in her black Chaador!

Anarak is a city in and the capital of Anarak District, in Naeen County, Esfahan Province. It is located at the edge of the "kavir Lut" (Lut desert) and about 75 km from the city of Naeen. The city is surrounded by ruins of an old wall and three look out towers (one of them seen in the shot) that were built about 100 years ago to keep the bandits out.

Anarak's climate is a typical desert climate, little rainfall, hot dry summer days and cool nights. Most of the old homes are adobe.

Hi Atousa!
I'm glad you keep posting photos of this nice town! This is another great one, with very good colours! I really like this composition where we can see the houses much closer and the two women passing,with the chaador.

Dearest Atousa

A very characteristic and exotic composition. The lady in her black chaador contrasts spectacularly with the earthen colours of the architecture. I like how you have positioned her to the left of the frame. A very mysterious photo, congratulations.

Good compo with tower on the hill top well placed in the frame and catching the eye in the distance. Quality is impeccable.
The lady makes also an interesting bonus.(not much people in the streets!)

Hi Atousa,
A very interesting street scene and daily life picture. The picture is well composed with a clear diagonal that separates the brown adobe houses from the blue sky. The woman and the watchtower provide balance and a good depth.

This is beautifuly composed photo with very interesting content. The colors are vivid and lively, not overburned by probably quite strong sun - well done. I like the way warm orange buildings contrast with cool sky. Lonely shape of woman whole in black adds a little bit mystery to the whole picture.

A breath taking view of this ancient village where the earth tones dominate. You have achieved a nicely balance exposure in rich colors. The blend of highlights and shadows have come out nicely with bags of atmosphere and mood. I like the viewpoint connecting to further view in the far end. Good detail, dof and some highlights in shadow areas, making the most of the angle leading the eyes. The mystery fig adds persperctive in stark contrast and proportion to this shot. Great work my friend, Congrats

A closeup of the picture you posted last. Here we have a fine view of the mud houses, the typicality of the architecture & the contarst with the blue sky! The scene is animated well with the presence of the two ladies...an important compositional element. Fine work!

You have a keen eye for composition and the right moment to press your shutter. This is an architecturaly very interesting shot with lots of details to take in. The village looks really pitoresque, the sandstone colors are great and the woman in her black chadoor just adds a great anchor point for the eye.
