Photographer's Note

Another view of this famous park, perhaps the finest in all of southern China! One of the many nooks & crannies in this spacious, leafy park. The Humble Administrators Garden is the largest & best in Suzhou, a city of over 4 million people, west of Shanghai. The new line 1 metro in Suzhou opened in April, so I might try to see Mudu, one weekend, a canal town on Suzhou's western outskirts.

Good Morning Chris,

A lovely 'follow-on' from yesterday's shot. There is the same almost tangible tranquility.
I like how the right angle of the water leads us gently into the shot, allowing plenty of time to appreciate the summer house and the overhanging tree, whilst still absorbing the light reflections and the evidence of rising fish. The buildings create a good balance from f/g to b/g. You know how I feel about the green.

The reflections on the water are assets to the compositions. The trrees are framing well the buildings. The point of view is showintg the details and colors of the buildings. There is a good contrast between the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.
