Photographer's Note

Traditional canal-side pub dating back to the opening of the Loughborough Canal in the late 18th Century. Has a bar, lounge and a darts room plus an outside patio. A long standing entry in the Good Beer Guide, The Albion stocks a range of changing guest beers together with regulars of Sharpís Doom Bar and Wicked Hathern Dobleís Dog Mild.If it wasn't for the inn sign no-one would know it is a pub as it looks like an ordinary house from the canal side.

This view was taken from the canal basin, pictures of which posted earlier, and comparing the two it seems like a different world.
