Puyvert, you can have a field day, fields of sunflowers are really beautiful. This year with the chance that many farmers began, as they alternate between wheat, year of rest and these beautiful flowers.

Puyvert is a small town mainly agricultural. The village was founded in 1550 by six families who took in Lourmarin farming lands Puyvert. The town grew slowly, a few old houses were restored, the farmhouse, to give today a small village full of charm.

Before its destruction by the armies of Charles V in 1450, the original village was located on a small hill (the Jas de Puyvert).

At the top of the hill, you will discover a beautiful pigeon giant created in the old keep the small castle. Recently restored by the Regional Natural Park of Luberon, it seems proudly keep the entrance to the valley of the Acute Brown.
