On the Road, a photo from Nevada, West

Photographer's Note

The snow, the rain, and the bending street that got my attention to photographing this picture. It was taken from a moving car using my telephoto lens, 200mm. The road view is beautiful between Reno and Sacramento. I could not resist not to take pictures with such a great view.

i don't about you but i am drawn to the contrast between the straightness of the trees and the gentle bend of the road. it's very pleasing to the eye. there is a lot of details to draw the eye, which is excellent. great job!

Hello Sothy,

This is a spectacular capture of the rolling hills and valleys on the road between Sacramento and Reno. Many years ago I drove in the opposite from Washington, DC to Berkeley, California, with a leg from Reno to Sacramento. (I was going to do a post-doc (in physics at U Cal Berkeley.) However, it was in the summer, and I can imagine how beautiful it is in the winter.

I love driving!
I love pictures that include roads!
Modern highways are not very welcome though!
No prejudices... I loved this one for its black & white, management of light, chosen pov and composition!
