Dear all,

After some absence from TE, I cannot resist uploading this picture as a tribute to the wonderfull period of holidays that everybody should deserve. Holidays are not a due thing but a fundamental necessity for the mind and the body to break out from the routine, the pressure and the common habits. It is a time to recharge the batteries especially in the current economical context, to travel, discover and to live (if money and health allow it of course).

I wish wonderfull holidays for people who have some and peacefull moments for all.

Hi Alexandre!
A nice tropical feeling and great depth.
But for a better composition,I would have placed the trunk``s shadow between these rocks,if possible.....

Hi Alexandre. Another photo from the beach. The colors and the slightly cloudy skies are wonderful. Ideal is the shadow of the palm between the stones. Really very nice. Compliment. Regards, Wolfgang.

Wow! This image certainly invites us to go to that magnificent paradise beach!
It's so attractive with excellent sharpness, exposure, pov, dof, colors, pp, contrasts, vertical & rectangular format, black & white borders and, above all, composition! The shadow of the coconut/palm tree (?) was a superb idea and the visual result is great!

dear Alexandre,
what a beautiful tropic picture...
the shadow of palm tree is impressive and it makes this whole view special,
all are beautiful, white sand, clear blue water, distant blue ocean and islands,,,
and the shadow suggests comfortable breeze blowing all over this scene,
even solid heavy rocks are well contrasted with swinging cool shadow,

Is this the paradise? For its great beauty one would say yes.
An excellent composition in which the shade of the coco-palm on the white sand of the beach and on the water turquoise, creates an aesthetic effect really impressive.
A great light and very beautiful colors, in a very well seen, and very well executed photo.

toujours les mêmes couleurs de rêve,plus de bateau, mais seulement une ombre,ce qui m'évoque qu'en plus d'être belle,cette île est tranquille!Il suffit de s'éloigner des 2 plages principales pour avoir l'impression d'être seul au monde!Que c'est beau!

Ik ben geen reiziger, maar wanneer ik dit beeld mag aanschowen dan zijn onze Belgische stranden maar pinuts.
U maakt schitterend gebruik van de schaduw van de boom om diepte te creëeren, mooie kleuren in de diepte. Bedankt.

Bonsoir Alexandre,
J'aurais aussi totalement craqué devant cette ombre sous l'emprise du vent.
Je la mets dans mes favorites de l'année pour pouvoir aller la contempler aussi souvent que nécessaire à ma survie durant le long hiver qui nous attend.
... Et puis, on ne sait jamais... si un jour l'envie me prend de découvrir l'Asie...
Bravo... bien au-delà de la traditionnelle carte postale!
