Here are a staple of the tourist photo: the exit ramp from Vatican Museum. Almost all the tourists around me that day took a photo of this ramp. Here is the result I got.

Eh bien, c'est plutôt réussi ! J'aime beaucoup le point de vue et le cadrage adoptés. Dommage qu'il y ait tant de personnes dans les escaliers car l'image est très graphique. Beau coup d'oeil.

Très bien réalisée , cette vue en plongée , avec un cadrage qui fonctionne très bien . Les gens ne me gênent pas du tout dans la composition , ils apportent plus de mouvement à la spirale .

beau coup d'oeil et belle perspective qui attire naturellement le regard vers le bas d'autant que tous les touristes "tournent" tous dans le même sens (vers la sortie donc).

yes, I think most people can recognize this famous and photogenic staircase.
Every photo though is a little bit different.
Very attractive light combinations with the darkness and lightness.

Il m'arrive occasionnellement d'observer la sortie d'un nid de fourmis, chacune transportant un petit quelque chose ou un grain de sable vers l'extérieur.
Et j'y pense ici!
Bien sûr, la technique est sans faille et la lumière, tout en douceur, crée une image épatante.

Sans faire de jeu de mot, la profondeur de champ est superbe, l'image étant aussi nette en bas qu'en haut. Quant à la lumière, elle est bien répartie. Il n'y à pas de zone d'ombre. La présence des gens donne vie à l'escalier.

Hi Rejean!

I really can't remember this ramp, or maybe i was just not paying attention and not into photography when i visited this museum. Love the different levels and the curves. I guess increasing a little bit of contrast would do just to have this stronger feel on the image rather than being bland. Great capture!

You don't need to apologise for the other tourists copying you in taking this scene. What you have presented us with is a technically excellent image, with perfect lighting and great clarity, but framed perfectly to catch the eye and offer an unique perspective. Very well done.

Very nicely seen! The spiral stairs are fluid in the shot, and the inclusion of the people gives a great sense of scale. The lighting is brilliant too.
