Photographer's Note

Let's continue out tour if the icons with probably one of the most iconic buildings, the 102-story Empire State Building. Located between the 33rd and 34th street on Fifth av., it currently is the tallest building of the Manhattan skyline and derives its name from the nickname from the state of New York.
Its floodlights were added to illuminate the top of the building at night, in colors chosen to match seasonal and other events. For Bastille Day, it is of course red, white and blue!
About the picture, well, it is a stitch of four pics taken from a bar of which I don't remember the adress (not for the reasons you might imagine...;-) but clearly remembers the view on the ESB. Definitely worth a drink up there!

Originale cette vue panoramique verticale de l'Empire State Building, ça rend hommage à sa dimension exceptionnelle ! Joli travail d'assemblage et luminosité vraiment sympa. Je ne savais pas qu'il était en bleu / blanc / rouge le 14 juillet ! Pas mal de bruit dans le ciel, mais ça ne se voit que sur la version large. Je ne sais pas si ça peut se corriger au post processing ...

Philippe, fine angle and corrections on this shot, appears to be little if any key stoning, great work. Also a nice note about the lighting on Bastille Day, cleaver...

Ah oui! voilà une présentation vraiment intéressante!
Belle idée... un peu de bruit en effet dans le ciel de la photo du haut (visible dans la version large) sans doute as-tu été obligé de pousser un peu sur la netteté mais j'aime beaucoup ce format si adapté.

The Empire State Buildings is one of my favorite World Landmarks, since I was I child!
Your minimalist composition is excellent!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, slim vertical format and grey&white borders are all very good too!
