Photographer's Note
The weather in Seattle has been spectacular this weekend - and warm, too! I recently bought a telephoto lens and decided to try it out on a sunset at Shilshole Bay marina. Located about 20 minutes from downtown Seattle and situated on Central Puget Sound, the marina features a public fishing pier and has enough moorage for up to 1400 boats. Spectacular views of the Olympic mountains are in the distance.

Hello Claudia,
I will say this, you have captured the pier and moorage, with the Olympics in beautiful color. All the masts rising into the sky reminds me in exercising population control. Your image is great, But What A Mess!!!
Now where did I leave my Sloop?

hi claudia
its always difficult to compose these marina shots, especially with all those sails floating around in the air.
you chose an excellent compo, with the cluttered look, with the stunning backdrop.
i like this very much!
great work
fantastic warm colours
cheers
