Photographer's Note

The forest is a place of refuge and escape, mysterious and desolate place. Wood is the original home of man, which to this day goes back, to breathe the calm, peace and freedom.
Sought refuge in the forest outlawed (like Robin Hood in Sherwood), hermits (St. Hubert of the Forest of Arden), lovers (Tristan and Isolde), Wandering knights (Persifal) and freedom fighters ( ,,soldiers anathema'').
Forest vibrant, a multitude of fauna and flora, is also a symbol of silence, melancholy and loneliness. Invariably arouses in the heart of nostalgia, longing for home and freedom in its deepest sense. For some it is a refuge for others - the danger. From it emerged a man in his prehistory (it is a symbol of life), but in it finds its end (after all, easy to divide it without a trace).
The forest is more than the forest , as a forest is different from the city park. Forest establishes its own right, is the kingdom of unbroken nature, habitat mystery, savagery, darkness.
