Photographer's Note

Remains of an ancient active volcano since two million years ago, which stands on the north north of Puy de Sancy volcano the Sanadoire rock. The chimney has been released following a landslide.
At the summit stood a mighty fortress that was destroyed in the 15th century by a powerful earthquake.
Faced to this rock separated we are able to see the Tuiliere rock whose picture should be part of this view stitch, but the photo was blurry.
I will make another tentation at an upcoming trip.

I dedicate this photo to our friend Jean Jacques Cordier, within a few hours we could meet that day.

First contribution in TE of my wife for the same subject.

Stitch of two images.
