Lac de l'eychauda, 2514 m, in Ecrins moutain range. The Eychauda valley joins the Vallouise valley.

The lake in under snow and ice a long time in the year, specially in 2008. In the background, on the right If you cross this pass, you may cross the rocky ridge to reach the Guisane valley.

Fantastic landscape.

Great landscape. I like the brown colors of the snow. I went on the Alps almost at the same time, and many glaciers were brown due to some desert sand mixed with snow.
I do not know this area. I should go sometimes

Tu aurais pu te rapprocher un peu que l'on voit mieux ce petit bras d'eau !
