Photographer's Note

The glacier Blanc valley in Ecrins mountain range. A path goes from the famous 'pré de madame Carle' (1800m) in the direction of the refuge 'du Glacier Blanc' (2542m).

This is an amazing place, with a real high moutain atmosphere.

The view is shot from the path leading to refuge of the Glacier Blanc.

Interesting and nice.
I like the clombers on the right of the frame, and in particular the orange rucksuck is very complementaruy with the deep blue of the sky

Hi Laurent,
I am always impressed by mountain photos. I like the vertical framing that gives more depth, and the strong colors.

Jolie vue. Ta photo donne une belle impression de "vallée sauvage" alors que dans mes souvenirs, il y a une sacré foule de randonneur dans le coins. Tient...je ne me souviens pas de ce passage avec une corde.

Bonjour Laurent,

C est marrant, je ne me rappellais pas qu il y avait un cable pour monter au refuge. C est vrai aussi que ca fait un moment que je ne suis pas allé par la bas (les dernieres fois c etait en ski).
J aime bien le point de vue qui montre le chemin, les randonneurs et l environnement glaciare.
Le polarisant a bien joué son role en saturant agreablement et uniformement les couleurs.
