Fine capture and lovely child. The expression of the kid tell a lot. You could have cropped it a little to make the child fill out more of the frame.Welcome on TE.

Hello, Ivey--
Welcome to TE. This is a nice idea, but i think that a closer point of view would have done well for you. If you could have approached the girl and taken the picture from her level, with her filling the left third of the frame and the house leading away, i think it would feel like a much better organized picture.
