Preface:
I used to wonder why there were so little pictures of the Inca Trail, though it is always proclaimed as World Famous. Was it not beautiful? Nah! That cant be true, since many refer to the trail as one of the best experiences in their lives.
The answer to my question was finally realised when I did it myself. You'll just be alright to carry your own weight, catch your breath and admire the beauty, than to remove that equipment of camera to shoot the beauty around.

About the Picture:
That doesnt stop genuine photographers from not clasping their cameras, and here is one example. This was on the afternoon of Day 3 when before we started our descent to Winay Wayna. We came across this wonderful ruins, where our guide gave us a good history lecture for 30 minutes. Continuing down the trail, this was the wall of the ruin from where the incas could look down on the valley. The Peruvian government was probably doing some restoration work, but forgot to remove the ladder after they were done. To me, it looks like the ladder to the Incas.... No, the ladder to Heaven... What does it look like to you?
