Photographer's Note

Amantani's island from Taquile's island 4000 m, (Lake Titicaca, Puno's state)

Peru presents an extreme geography to be lined by Pacific Ocean, crossed by the Andes Cordillera and situated close to the equator.

We meet a whole variety of climates between the desert coast, the dry high mountain and the impenetrable forest of Amazonie.

It is moreover remarkable to see how the inhabitants were able to adapt themselves and to benefit from the nature in hostile priori of this part of the country of South America.
