Photographer's Note

Ok, I apologize, as I am a bit fed-up. Yesterday I went to downtown Toulouse to the trvel bookstore to look at books on Patagonia, on my way out my Bike was gone. The chain was there in the floor, cut in two. It was in broad daylight in a very busy square. I am really fed-up, as I already had one bicycle stolen last year, and I have made it a lifestyle choice not to have a car and do everything by bike. Toulouse has a big bicycle theft rate. It is a very nice city to go around by bike, and thieves know it, so stolen bikes go quickly. This morning I went to the market around the basilica that goes on every weekend and bought myself a used bike. Perhaps it was stolen from someone else, but given that chances are it won't be my last bike to be stolen, I might as well buy a cheaper one, but people SUCK.

About the picture, taken in the steps outside Lima's beautiful San Francisco Church, guy watchning the world and the piegeons go by.

Sorry about the bad mood.
