OVER THE CLOUDS, a photo from Amazonas, North

Photographer's Note

not sure exactly where we were, somewhere between Peru and Bolivia. If someone can identify this structure, i'd be really happy.
The sun rose from behind clouds, Beautifull moment.
It is said that a picture freezes time into an image. For this image, quite true.
I hope you like,
A part for the border, it is absolutly un-retouched, I could probably have croped the bottom, but i did not want to loose the halo.

Great photo. The composition is really good - the mountain poking through the clouds on the right, the sun and flaring, the clouds and hint of blue sky - they all work really good together. A really powerful photo with the flarin and blue horizontal line of light coming from the sun. Great color and good note to match. I think you did the right thing by not cropping.

Fantastic view with good outline of the peak that rise above the cloud. Your star effect and flairs works very well on this overcast scenery.
Good composition.

Hi Michel,

The sun is a little out of focus... but what a sun! You've certainly managed to remind us that it is after all a star with this shot. The composition is good, and the mountain well placed. One thing that works really well here is that, for a change, the flare not only comes out well, but really adds something special to the photo.
