Little princess, a photo from Asuncion, South

Photographer's Note

I started to explore new fields which are a challenge to me. Portraits.

I have to mention that photographing people is not an easy task.

One has to overcome the fear and shyness as a first step, but I consider that after all it is highly rewarding.

With this picture I will create a new theme, "People from Paraguay" which I hope you can review and critique as hard as you can, so I can make some progress.

I do not ask them to pose for me. I just stand there keeping on shooting.

I would say, keep on shooting that's really a rewarding technique you got there ! Unique posing of the princess, pleasant POV, lying at her feets ?
Soft tone and cropped tight maybe a bit too tight on top ....

Very good portrait! I also like the angle and perspective. The title is quite usual, but she will be a beautiful queen indeed.

Superbe plan en contre plongée. C'est net, la lumière est belle et la photo est tres naturelle.
La petite ne pose pas, elle est superbe.

it takes guts to portrait people i have the same thing.. there are day's that i just don't care and the next day i get soo shy and i don't even dare to ask for a portrait, can't explein that....

This is a beautiful young lady, and i like how she looks away from the camera but; i think your angle is way too low, i don't like to look into peoples noses and that's what happening here... A low angle can work quite well in a portrait but then i would prefer some more distance and more body then....
but i think you're a brave man for trying out portraits, so extra kuddo's :D...

Hello Cesar. Amazing portrait. Well-chosen POV. IMHO, I would crop it tighter on the left to make the subject a bit un-centered. But then again, it is very nice as it is.
