Ypacaraí Lake is a major water body located in Paraguay about 50 km east of Asunción. The lake is surrounded by three cities: Ypacaraí, San Bernardino and Areguá, the first two being located on its shores, and the latter having this public beach shown on the photo.

Hello Alexandre,
We don't often see photos from Paraguay here on TE, so this one is a treat. :-) The warm lighting is very nice, and I like that interesting, shady spot. The pier, small boats, and animal on the sand are nice details, too.

Fantastic warm cold colour contrasts between the red sand and blue sky. The b&w cow at right adds a focal point. Good sharpness, density levels and saturation. Tfs!

I really like the mix of the warm tones of the sand and the blue lake. The pier and the large umbrella are very well placed next to each other in this bright sunlight.

Hello Alexandre,
I am not sure about the quality of the water in this lake, but at some distance it looks nice. It's a very good composition where you balanced the straw umbrella nicely against the roof on the pier. There is also a good balance between sky, water and sand. This seems to be the first photo from Paraguay since your own last one more than two years ago.

linda vista dop famoso lago com o pier e esse guarda-sol de praia. tenho vontade de conhecer melhor o paraguai. visitei apenas assuncion, trinidad e ciudad del este.

A well constructed composition that creates an interesting juxtaposition between the straw parasol and the similarly shaped structure at the end of the pier. Nicely illuminated with excellent colour contrasts and well rendered textural detail.

Qu'on le veuille ou non, ce paysage donne l'envie des vacances, surtout celles en bord de mer.Je me lèverais bien tôt le matin pour réserver ce parasol naturel. J'aime beaucoup la polarisation du ciel.

So the landlocked Paraguay does have some beaches.
The sand even has a pretty pink colour.
An attractively composed picture. Beautiful with the shadow of the thatched sunshade.

Anyway, the lake beach scenery is well saturated with good contrast from sand to water. Rendered nicely the scenery.

i like how the umbrella in the fg is almost duplicating the roof in the bg. and the two boats add alot of rustic charm, they're not your usual boats we see. lovely lighting and exposure too. cheers
