Lagunas Miniques e Miscanti, a photo from Antofagasta, Norte Grande

Photographer's Note

Lagunas Miñiques and Miscanti have an incredible blue color. They are surrounded by dry and stony soil. In the background we have mountains of more than 5600 meters of altitude. The two lagoons are in the same park, very close to each other. The lagoons are at 4200 meters above sea level, so we have a very cool place, even with strong sun.

Hi Walter
A good photo of this high altitude scenery - great colour in the water and mountains. I probably would have cropped out some of the foreground to make it more panoramic (but that's just me).
