Photographer's Note
The Vado del Rio Putana is a small stream that at some points of its descent through the mountains is dammed, forming true oasis in the middle of the desert. You can see several animals, including vicuņas, llamas and more below some flooded with hundreds of flamingos. The valley can be enjoyed at the return of the Geisers del Tatio, as it winds along the access road.
