Photographer's Note

Station Square in BAGA(as they call my city).

The train was the transport used to bring all the material used to build the new Minas Gerais state capital. The square was built in 1904 and in 1922 a new station (in neoclassico style) was built in order to attend the city growing pace. The buiding was recently reestored and nowadays it held the Museum of Arts and Trades. Its yellow color iluminared by the afternoon sun and the rainbows formed in the fountain in fornt of the building is quite magic to see and photograph.

I think you were faced with a little dilema here Flavia. Get the nice perspective & shadows from the wall on the left, or loose a tiny piece of the statue behind the arch. You certainly made the right choice. Love those yellow & orange tones - the light is superb.

Yellow facades is stunning in your photo. Good selected time for harsh sun lights while repeating windows creating a wonderful view under portico. But the end of portico is full with surprise. A statue and different atmosphere that you captured very well. Congratulations.

Olá Flavia,
bonito esse detalhe da estação, nunca reparei isso lá, em breve tenho que ir na nesse museu fotografar, mas hoje vi umas imagens do Cemitério do Bonfim numa revista e está nos meus planos também, apesar de ser meio macabro, mas tem muitas obras de arte lá.

Esta aqui está linda, uma composição muito original! Só você mesmo para fazer a gente redescobrir a terra da gente, com outros olhos. O jogo de luz e sombra na parede deu uma dinâmica e profundidade geniais.
