The Palace of the Plateau is located at Three Powers’ Square and it’s the main office of the Republic’s President. This Palace as like as the most buildings of Brasilia, was designed by Oscar Niemeyer.

Oi Consuelo,
Incrível esta foto com este reflexo perfeito do Palácio do Planalto. O título dado a esta imagem do prédio onde trabalha o Presidente da República ficou bastante sugestivo.

this a very very nice picture, well balanced and contrasted.
Simple, pure : symmetry is perfect!
Colored b&w's are always very hard to find and shoot, you did great with this one!

Photo très graphique avec ce noir et blanc et cette symétrie. Les deux arbres me plaisent beaucoup car ils apportent de la rondeur à cette construction géométrique. Suggestion:la ligne médiane et un peu penchée, elle monte vers la droite, tu peux la redresser un peu pour un résultat encore meilleur.

Foto muito gráfico com este preto e branco e esta simetria. As duas árvores agradam-me muito porque trazem da redondeza à esta construção geométrica. Suggestion:la pauta mediana e ligeiramente inclinada, monta para a direita, podes rectificar-o ligeiramente para um resultado ainda melhor. Bom Domingo

Hola Consuelo,

perfect idea (only a little little tilt). Reminds me of paintings of an artist I know (Giselbert Hoke). He always made very colourful pictures, now he is 80 years old and the last 10 years he was reducing everything to black and white, but very contrastful. He said to me, that he realized in his long life that B&W are the perfect colours.
So congratulations for this artistic work.

muito belo o resultado dessa foto. O reflexo está quase que uma cópia perfeita do Palácio. A escuridão ao redor da arquitetura foi muito bem-vinda para ainda mais enfatizar o tema. Uma beleza!

Consuelo, on ne se lasse pas de l'architecture de Brasilia. J'aime particulièrement cette vue nocturne. L'immeuble et son reflet sortent du noir profond de la nuit sans aucun parasite visuel. Superbe.

I remember seeing an article on Brasilia in National Geographic, I imagine that was 30 years ago. Seeing this shot i think that this architecture looks like 1960's futuristic. I find this all very interesting because if memory serves this city was carved out of the wilderness. Nice work.

Fantástica. Creo que sabes captar con mucho criterio en tus fotos lo que este gran arquitecto quiere decirnos en el diseño de sus obras.

Bueno, ya se ha dicho todo sobre esta foto...me gusta la geometría del edificio y el efecto que consigues combinando el reflejo en el agua y la iluminación nocturna.

Aparte de estar un poco torcida (pero eso no es problema), yo la hubiera cortado un pelín. Creo que hay demasiado negro que no nos dice nada.

this image popped up at random on the first page of your profile, and I'm compelled to write a comment, I like it too much to stay silent :) love how the striking contrast between the pitch black and bright white make the scene look almost abstract and confuses all feeling of scale - seems that the building could be both a tiny model and a huge palace. the dark silhouette of the tree is a very nice accent, but I think I'd crop the half-light on the left, I find it destroys a bit the otherwise perfect symmetry of the shot. still, very, VERY well seen and presented.
