Another view, by night, of National Congress Palace. Its consists of the Federal Senate (the upper house, the building in the left) and the Chamber of Deputies (the lower house, the building in the right). The cupulas are a symbol that represent the brazilian process legislative. Oscar Niemeyer was its designer. Brasilia-DF.

Olá Consuelo,

bela foto noturna dessa tão conhecida arquitetura. Imagino que Brasília tenha inúmeros temas para belas fotografias. As formas, tão características, são um "prato" cheio (como sua foto mostra :) Gostei da perspectiva e do reflexo sobre a água. Parabéns por essa captura!

Uma belíssima imagem do nosso congresso, com ótimos reflexos, muito bonito po fora mesmo, pena que por dentro não podemos dizer a mesma coisa, exceto de sexta a segunda, e em Janeiro, Fevereiro, Julho, Dezembro e feriados, quando a croja vai embora... hehe

esta já é uma vista mais clássica do Congresso, eu teria cortado uma das luzes e dado mais espaço à direita do edifício. Mesmo assim é uma bela foto

Consuelo, j'aime cette vue nocturne de ce lieu. La nuit efface tout sauf les édifices qui sont illuminés ce qui met en valeur la pureté de l'architecture.

Olá Consuelo,
bonita toma nocturna, con gran contraste de los edificios blancos iluminados y el cielo totalmente negro, que tiene un fuerto efecto gráfico.
Hay una perfecta combinación de curvas y líneas en el maravilloso diseño arquitectónico de Oscar Niemeyer, un maestro en el manejo de la geometría.
Es una bonita foto, y está bien realizada.

I am generally not a big fan of after dark images with large areas in the black but this one seems to work. I think what I like about the image is the B&W feel to the image without it being a B&W image. The white of the buildings really stands out against the black sky and FG while the colors of the interior enhance the image. Another reason I think this works is that your exposure is spot on, the whites are white and not shades of grey and the black is black. Well done!

another fine shot, Consuelo. smart choise to photograph these buildings at night, their white shapes are much more distinct and impressive against the black that they would be during the day agains the blue of the sky. I also like the composition, the buildings form a strong diagonal line that nicely leads the eye through the shot. very well seen and presented.
