This is a great shot. Very graphic and the subjects are reduced almost entirely to geometrics to the veiwer. Beautiful. Thanks.

Que fotografia intrigante. O cropping ficou muito bom. Seria interesante de ver algumas comparacoes com diferentes tempos de abertura.

yes, it is quite amazing how trees survive in the most unusual places, in various places in America, i have seen trees clinging onto rock formations, and you just wonder how and why do they survive in these conditions.

Hi Carlos! This photo is refreshing!!! At first view it looks like a montage, but your note mention what I suspected: how long the tree will survive? This is very well capture. The water well frozen around the tree; giving a good impression of movement! I like also the layers of green leaves in the upper part of the photo. Very well done!!!

This is for sure an amazing place where a tree is living next to a waterfall ??! I've never seen that before this shot.

Photographically speaking, it would have been good i think to use a tripod and use a low shutter speed, for example 1 sec and then play with contrast : believe me the result would have been tremendous !
I still am impressed bythis picture.
PS : yes i know my nickname sounds brazilian, i have that since i used to play soccer "like a brazilian" when i was young ;)

wow, the tree does look brave and tough... to survive this regular onslaught of water. maybe not so surprising that it still survives, what i find more amazing is how it survived as a little tree if the waterfall already was there...
