Photographer's Note

While eating inside the Mc Donald's, in front of the Nações Unidas avenue, I saw this day-light skyline of Bauru. After ending my meal, I went out and shot this picture. Many posts and cables were there, and I was tempted to clone them out before posting here, but I later reconsider to leave the picture exactly as I saw it, and let the cables fill the sky.
Many ads can be seen here. The ubiquitous Coca Cola, the very good Skol beer, and 'Unibanco 30 horas'.
I'm not so a fan of McD, but after being three complete days in the pantanal, eating just the same three 'exotic' fruits and a lot of 'feijoada', I wanted to experiment a little of the urban food. I saw a street ad of McD with an arrow signaling the direction. I followed it and ate the best chicken sandwich in... in 3 days.

Very nice composition. It was a wise choice to keep the posts and cables - they give the picture a nice urban feel and form graphically a nice contrast with the buildings on the right. Nice picture and I like the way you unfold your traveling story, Jurgen.

Jürgen: es una buena fotografia, con un aire muy urbano, el cual es resaltado aún más por el conjunto formado por los postes(con los cables de alta tensión) y por los edificios que parecen que van a rozar las nubes. El contraste de color azul-violeta de las nubes con el celeste del cielo es perfecto. Felicitaciones!
