GOOD DEATH'S FOUNTAIN, a photo from Goias, Center-West

Here you can see the old City Council, the palm tree where the toucan was and in the foreground the Boa Morte Fountain (Good Death's Fountain, because the church located few meters bellow).
To bring water for the cities was ever a challenge and a priority. This is the second oldest fountain of the city, created in 1778, there is a small aqueduct behind.

Nessa foto podemos ver a antiga Câmara Municipal e a palmeira imperial onde o tucano estava pousado. Em primeiro plano temos a Fonte da Boa Morte (Que tem esse nome por conta da igreja homônima que está localizada logo abaixo).
Trazer água para as cidades sempre foi um desafio e uma prioridade. Essa é a segunda fonte da cidade, erguida em 1778, tendo atrás de si um pequeno aqueduto.

Hi Jorge,
Lovely spot. We have a nice combination of the elegant architecture and the nature represented by the palm trees.
The sun was not on your side but there was enough light to appreciate the spot.
The toucan has left already I suppose.

The palm trees are helping to frame the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the fountain and of the church. The colors and the sharpness are very good. Have a nice day.

The building is definitely interesting in shape and colours. I like how it is off-set to give a fine sense of depth to the b/g building.
The light was difficult for you.
I wonder if a little more saturation would have given the shot a little more oomph!

A large building for a fountain but very beautiful in Portuguese style.
The palm trees make a nice backdrop.
If the name is 'Good Death's Fountain' I think I'd have a drink somewhere else :)

Hello Jorge, Pity that the toucan flew away. But at least we saw it. We know already the city council. Nice fountain with the strange name. What death is good??

Hermosa fuente que se ve restaurada hace poco con esa combinacion de blanco y amarillo, buena erspectiva con el Ayuntamiento al fondo.
